Destructive book scanning is a cheaper scanning method for digitizing books that don’t have inherent value in the physical copy. This more cost effective scanning option still results in the same high quality scanned content. With destructive scanning, we remove the spine and feed the pages through a feeder- method scanner, thereby trading in a book’s integrity in return for the complete content as a superior digital copy.

Our rates and turn times are among the lowest in the industry. We charge $13.95 base fee for the first book, $6.95 base fee for additional books, PLUS $.06 per page, and we usually complete projects within 1-2 business days.

Destructive scanning is cheaper and faster than non-destructive scanning, and produces similar quality results.

Non-destructive book scanning provides high quality digitization, using industry-leading technology that allows us to scan entire books gently via overhead capture. After scanning, the book will be returned to you via mail, intact.

Non-destructive book scanning is a more detailed and manual process, and therefore does cost more than destructive book scanning. However, our fees and turn times are the most competitive in the industry. We charge $21.95 base fee for the first book, $14.95 base fee for additional books, PLUS $.09 per page, and we usually complete projects within 4-6 business days.
